Hi, I’m Amanda McGovern.

I’m a licensed mental health therapist who helps individuals move from stress and overwhelm to a life that feels more calm, authentic, and purposeful.

Life doesn't have to feel like you're constantly rushing, second-guessing, or living by someone else's rules. I know firsthand what it’s like to feel disconnected and overwhelmed—when anxiety doesn’t just live in your mind, but in your body too.

My approach blends mind-body-soul techniques and practical skills to fit your unique needs. I am neurodivergence and LGBTQIA+ affirming, Kink/Poly friendly, and trauma informed. I work from a feminist and justice oriented lens, and draw from emotion-focused therapy, internal family systems, CBT, and somatic therapy among others. I currently offer both in-person sessions in St. Petersburg and online therapy throughout the state of Florida.
